Formula TV established the charity fund to help the Ukrainian people. According to the Formula TV General Director, Zuka Gumbaridze, the initiative is joined by the political party Droa, political spectrum, civil society and the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia.
"Formula TV, together with the Georgian people is starting to establish a fund. Through this fund business representatives, ordinary citizens, all those who want to help the Ukrainian people, will be able to contribute even 1 GEL and then transfer all the accumulated financial resources to the Ukrainian government.
Naturally, each employee of Formula TV shares this idea and for us it is a great honor. This decision could not have been fulfilled without our founder's decision to make the first donation to this foundation, for which I thank David Kezerashvili on behalf of Formula TV and its staff.
Our initial donation to this fund will be GEL 500,000 and I want to call on everyone to support this initiative and together we can put one brick in assisting Ukraine," Gumbaridze said.
According to the Deputy Ambassador of Ukraine to Georgia, he welcomes the Formula TV initiative. He said that many citizens and organizations from Georgia applied to the embassy for contributing assistance, and this fund will greatly facilitate the coordination of their efforts.
